How does the navamsa chart play a role in predicting the timing of marriage in Vedic astrology?

As a Vedic astrologer with more than 22 years of experience, I can say that the Navamsa chart is one of the most important tools for predicting marriage in Vedic astrology. While the birth chart (D1) shows whether marriage is promised, the Navamsa Kundali often helps determine the strength, quality, and timing of marriage.

Many people ask, "What is a Navamsa chart and why is it so important?" The Navamsa chart, also known as the D9 chart, is a divisional chart that provides deeper insights into relationships, married life, and a person's destiny after marriage. It acts as a magnifying glass for the birth chart.

When predicting marriage timing, astrologers don't rely solely on the 7th house in the birth chart. We also examine the 7th house, 7th lord, Venus, Jupiter, and their placements in the Navamsa chart. Strong and well-placed planets in the D9 chart often indicate smoother and timely marriage, while afflictions from Saturn, Rahu, Ketu, or Mars can point toward delays.

Another crucial factor in Navamsa chart reading is the analysis of planetary periods, known as Dashas.
