In a birth chart, the second house is the significator of wealth, family, speech, values/sanskars, food likes-dislikes, ancestral wealth, eloquence, investment, mouth, tongue, teeth, throat, neck, and the right eye. For Leo (Simha) ascendant, Mercury's sign Virgo (Kanya) falls in the second house. The second house is a Maraka (inflicting) house, and for Leo ascendant, Saturn's sign Aquarius (Kumbha) falls in the seventh house; the seventh house and the second house are Maraka houses, which means Saturn becomes the Marakesh (lord of death/inflicting house), and for Leo ascendant, Saturn, being the Marak of a Marak house, is in conjunction with Mars in the second Marak house.
This Saturn-Mars conjunction indicates a difference in their mutual natures; Saturn is slow while Mars is agile/swift, Saturn represents deep thinking while Mars represents quick and sudden decisions. Because this conjunction is in the second house, Saturn's seriousness, while aggressiveness due to Mars is observed in the person's speech; because of this, even though their speaking is the truth, it can hurt others' feelings due to the style of speaking.
Also, for wealth and assets, this conjunction indicates struggle — gains come through struggle.
