The 14th nakshatra in the Nakshatra order, Chitra Nakshatra, is a 'Dwipada' (two-footed) nakshatra, and the first two quarters (charans) are located in Virgo (Kanya) sign, while the last two quarters are located in Libra (Tula) sign.
The lord of Chitra Nakshatra is Mars (Mangal), and the Nakshatra deity is Vishwakarma. True to the name of this nakshatra, the face of a native born in this nakshatra is always like a picture (Chitra) — meaning even in old age, the shade of youthfulness remains on the face exactly as it is.
