Why is the transit of Saturn over the 7th or 8th house seen as a sign of possible separation in astrology?

To say that the transit of Saturn in the 7th or 8th house in the birth chart means separation or divorce can be completely wrong; however, the statement that it is a period that takes a difficult test of relationships in a person's life would be appropriate. Saturn possesses the 3rd, 7th, and 10th aspects. The 8th house means death and its significatorship is with Saturn. Saturn is not a tormentor but a judge who evaluates the account of a person's deeds (karma) and gives them appropriate benefits or punishment.
When Saturn transits through the 7th house, it looks at the fortune (9th) house with its 3rd aspect, the ascendant (1st) house with its 7th aspect, and the 4th house, meaning the house of happiness, with its 10th aspect — similarly, while transiting through the 8th house, it casts its aspect on the house of action/career (10th) with its 3rd aspect, the wealth (2nd) house with its 7th aspect, and the 5th house with its 10th aspect. That means when transit Saturn passes over the 7th and 8th houses, it gives predictions regarding fortune, action, gains, ascendant, wealth, happiness, and children / romance-love, etc.
Even among these, transit Saturn in the 8th house becomes more painful, which is exactly why the eighth Saturn is designated as 'Moti Panoti' (major difficult period). While Saturn travels through transit over the 7th and 8th houses, it shows effects on a person's life regarding mental balance, changes in the field of work, lack of fortune, delays in work, expenditure of wealth in inappropriate places, lack of material pleasures, anxiety regarding children, and mental imbalance with the partner regarding marriage; that is why transit Saturn in the 7th house and in the 8th house feels more painful.
