Who is the true teacher in astrology: Jupiter or Saturn?

In Indian tradition, immense importance is given to the Guru. Due to the Guru's knowledge, the disciple becomes great, becomes wise, whereas due to the disciple's knowledge, the Guru's name becomes famous. 'Guru' is not an individual but a principle. In astrology, the planet Jupiter (Guru) is mentioned as a guide or teacher because Brihaspati (Guru), the teacher of the gods, is called Devaguru. But the one who shapes you by giving you the experience of the school of life is Saturn's Sade Sati (seven-and-a-half-year period). That is why Saturn also has equal importance as a teacher.
When teachers in school shape students with their knowledge, enhance their self-confidence, and teach them to live with respect in society, [and] instill good values, then this teacher means a Guru. But on the other hand, when a person gets trapped in a completely wrong kind of work, then through that experience he learns to recognize people and situations; so here, his teacher is 'Saturn'.
That means Jupiter gives knowledge, whereas Saturn gives experience. Jupiter gives positivity, proper guidance, intellect, morality, wisdom, and philosophy in a person's life. Guru means that person who tells you, "Go by this path, you will achieve success." But Saturn's method is different; he does not teach by speaking, but through experience.
During the Sade Sati period, he creates such situations that a person learns a lesson from them on their own. Through failure, struggle, financial loss, honor and insult, [and] hard labor, Saturn makes a person strong. Saturn tells a person to find the answer to their question through their own experience.
Looking at it this way, a person needs both of these teachers. If there is only Jupiter, knowledge will be gained, but experience might fall short. But if Saturn is present, one will have to find the right direction through experience. Jupiter teaches us "what is right", whereas Saturn makes us understand the difference between what is right and wrong for us.
Therefore, looking from the perspective of astrology, Jupiter is the teacher of knowledge, while Saturn is the teacher of life experiences. One shows the path, whereas the other teaches how to walk on that path. Therefore, to be successful in life, both of these teachers are necessary. And when the right time comes, every person gets that experience.
